Cairns Volleyball Association Invites Men’s and Women’s A-grade 6 a-side teams to attend the Cairns Cup to be held on the 12th and 13th of August 2017.

Event Details

Venue                Cairns Youth Centre, 129 Mulgrave Road, Cairns.

Times                 Approximately 8am-6pm Saturday, 9am-4pm Sunday.

Format               All matches will be 3 sets or until time (25, 25, 15). All games will be timed (except finals) to 1 hour, including 10-minute warm up.

Ladder               Competition Points:

• Win = 2 points
• Loss = 1 point
• 1 Bonus Point for every set won
• Forfeit 0 points

Duty                   Teams will be required to do duty which will consist of a 1^st referee, 2^nd referee, scorer & 2 line judges. An incomplete duty will result in a forfeit for offending team.

Uniforms            Teams to supply their own consistent uniform with numbers.

Entry Fee            A$300 to be paid to Cairns Volleyball prior to tournament or by arrangement.

Lunch                  Lunch on Saturday provided for all teams by Eat Real Cairns

Function             Players function will be at the Jack Hotel from 7:30pm on Saturday night. Nibbles provided.
